WHAT LEADERSHIP LOOKS LIKE

One of the most dyed-in-the-wool liberal leftist Democrats in America is the alleged and highly overrated “journalist” and book-churner-outer Bob Woodward. Our President graciously granted him a series of personal interviews from which he cherry picked everything he could that might be thought of in a negative way, and concluded the book with his “sage” (actually, stupid) pronouncement that Donald Trump isn’t “fit to be President.” But, what else should be expected from someone who personifies the perversion-pushing, baby-killing, lying, stealing, morality and politics of leftist/Democrats.

During the interviews Trump said that early on he purposely downplayed the potential danger of Covid-19 because he wanted to alleviate any unnecessary fear and offset panic among the American public. Woodward jumped on this nothingburger as if it were a piece of prime rib. And so has the liberal media. Their narrative is that this represents how deceitful President Trump is. No, it’s just another proof of the leadership ability possessed by President Trump.

Everyone who has ever known anything about leadership has always known that one of the strongest, most sterling traits of a true leader is his ability to maintain coolness and composure in the face of crisis — in himself and in those he leads. Here are a few examples:

Leadership is a matter of having people look at you and gain confidence,

seeing how you react. If you're in control, they're in control.

—Tom Landry

I am in a thoroughly painful state of agitation. This does not keep me from

looking quite serene in front of my entourage.

—Napoleon Bonaparte

The ability to keep a cool head in an emergency, maintain poise in the midst

of excitement, and to refuse to be stampeded are true marks of leadership.

—R. Shannon

When a person is calm, complex events appear simple.

—John Heider, The Tao of Leadership

Reason and calm judgment are the qualities specially belonging to a leader.

—Tacitus

Nothing gives a person so much advantage over another as to remain always

cool and unruffled under all circumstances.

—Thomas Jefferson

The leadership trait recently demonstrated by our President and referred to here is highlighted in every book ever written on leadership. But the leftist/Democrats deriding our President don’t get it. They don’t want to get it. Their minds, rotted out by their godlessness, are incapable of getting it. Their moral compass is whacked out by sin. When it ought to be pointing to what’s right and decent, it’s natural tendency is to always to point to what’s wrong and indecent. “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isa. 5:20).
