OUR TWO MAJOR CHALLENGES IN 2021 AND HOW TO RESPOND TO THEM

As we enter into this New Year, we enter during the most challenging times since the founding of our country. We begin 2021 faced with two summary challenges: One challenge concerns whether of not we will survive as a non-socialist/communist country (which we certainly will not if the Democrat Party's presidential election "steal" is successful). The second challenge pertains to (1) whether or not paganized "Christianity," which is epidemic in America will be recognized for what it is and soundly rejected by those who have been at any level, accepting of it, and (2) whether of not worldliness and a pragmatic approach to ministry will be recognized by churches, not yet paganized, for what it is, and soundly and resolutely rejected (2 Chron. 7:14).

Successfully meeting and overcoming the first challenge mentioned above depends on the success of Christians where the second challenge mentioned is concerned. Why? Because (1) only the direct intervention of God can reverse what Satan and his human agents and dupes have brought about here politically and culturally, and (2) because only God can undo the spiritual travesty that has taken place in a country where many if not most Christians have no interest in "walking in the Spirit" and "following after holiness" of life, but instead are guided by human reasoning and obsessed with whatever makes them happy. (See Rom.8:1; Eph. 4:1; Her. 12:14). This constitutes a "Christianity" that is a scandalous sham; a shameful sacrilege committed in the name of God. It is America's spiritual and religious "swamp."

We enter 2021 when at least half, and probably more than half of our government consists of anti-American, committed baby killers, perversion pushers and God haters, and when according to their party affiliation and voting record, a little less than half, half, or more than half of Americans are so far down the drain morally, spiritually and mentally that they want to keep baby killers, perversion pushers, anti-Americans and God haters in control of our government.

God has shown Himself ready, time and again throughout history to intervene and do what only He can do when His people are ready and willing to do what they can do to get sin out of their lives and out of their communities. But God doesn’t step in until His people step up and do what they should and can do.

People need to take God’s Word, the Bible, literally concerning any passage of Scripture relative to any subject wherever the entire context of the Bible indicates that it should be taken literally. They need to stop deciding whether or not to obey or disobey based upon what is “important, “relevant,” convenient or comfortable to them personally (2 Pet. 1:20; 2 Pet. 3:16; Rev. 22:19). This includes their attitude, associations, attire, activities or anything else whatsoever (Prov. 3:5, 6; Rom. 12:1, 2; 1 Cor. 6:19, 20).

Christians need to cultivate, thorough study of, and meditation on, the Scriptures and through earnest prayer, hearts that are humble, honest and hungrily seeking that which pertains to the kingdom of God and to Christlikeness. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matt. 6:33). Until this happens in a significant way, matters will continue to go from bad to worse in our churches, and consequently in our country.
