STOP CALLING THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA A "DEMOCRACY"

Words are powerful weaponizable things. This is why everyone from politicians to news pundits, to school teachers either ignorantly or intentionally constantly refer to our "Democracy" in America (which it is not) instead of to our "Republic" (which it is). Famed historian, Charles Beard wrote: "The founders of the Republic in general, whether Federalist or Republican, feared democracy more than they feared original sin." America's founders held the same opinion of Democracy that Plato and other ancient's had. Plato wrote: "Democracy leads to anarchy, which is mob rule." Aristotle agreed: "Republics decline into democracies and democracies degenerate into despotisms." Senaca said this: "Democracy is more cruel than wars or tyrants." Check out the following, then feel free to copy, paste and share this: “A simple democracy is one of the greatest of evils.”—Benjamin Rush

“Our real disease is democracy.”—Alexander Hamilton

The known propensity of a democracy is to licentiousness which the ambitious call, and the ignorant believe to be liberty.—Fisher Ames

“Democracy will envy all, contend with all, endeavor to pull down all, and when by chance it happens to et the upper hand for a short time, it will be revengeful, bloody and cruel.”—John Adams

“Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote!”—Benjamin Franklin

(PS: There’s a reason they call themselves “Democrats).
