“Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things; they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they showed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.”  —Ezek.  22:26

In a recent interview on a local radio station, the pastor of one of the newest “worship center”/churches in the area was commenting on his church’s philosophy of ministry and inviting the radio audience to come and “experience” their services.  He said, “We don’t do a lot of the God stuff around here in our services.” The fact is, that a great many churches in America have cut, and are continuing to "cut" the “God stuff” out of their services. This is, by th...

I’ve written a long rather long reply (Hope you can read it) to John White’s comment on my article: “TO WHOM DO DEMOCRATS PRAY?” not so much for his sake, but to clarify publicly that what I discuss, applaud, attack or otherwise take issue with are principles, platforms, ideologies and agendas. This is the primary focus; not people. Sometimes it’s unavoidable and inevitable that people are mentioned or brought to mind in connection with the subject at hand, but this is incidental. Ideas, not individuals, are my focus.

Richard Weaver (1910-1963) wrote an important book entitled, “Ideas Have Consequences.” This title expresses a profound truth: that is, that it is essentially, fundamentally, ideas that bring about consequences, not people. People who su...

Who do Democrats pray to? This is a sincere question. Democrat Party leaders, celebrities, and media figures who identify with the Democratic Party continuously make public reference to the prayers that they pray. So do the rank and file of people  who agree with the Democratic Party platform and vote “Democrat.” So, here is an honest and easy to answer question: Who do they “pray” to?

It would be confusing and perhaps offensive to these folks to assume that they “pray” to the God of The Bible. Why? Because the things that are underscored in the Bible as things that God hates and abominates are the very things that are supported, praised, voted for and whenever possible made into law by Democrats. The Bible, by the way, claims to be God’s o...

A friend of mine recently wrote the following, and asked me to offer my opinion: “This virus” he wrote, “was a smokescreen to cause the officials and the American people to get sidetracked and keep them away from the real issues of America which right now is Obamagate. This is possibly the worst constitution-breaking incident in American political history and they tried to shield themselves by getting this virus in the way.”

My answer was: “I think the possibility is strong that somehow the Coronavirus thing was, and continues to be, stirred up, manipulated, merchandised on, to create a "smokescreen" to deflect attention from crimes committed under that administration. The thing that needs to be remembered in considering anything like this is just ho...

I’m not a fan of Fox News personality Neil Cavuto. He’s on my short list, along with Chris Wallace and Brit Hume, of those on Fox News who shouldn't be trusted to be “fair and balanced.” But he did say something that is worth quoting relative to personal responsibility and the urgent need of Americans to get government off our backs, out of our faces, and out of our business; to quit usurping personal responsibility that belongs to us as individuals and not to government—whether this has to do with washing our hands, taking a walk, going to work or opening or closing a privately owned business. The U.S. Constitution specifically grants only 17 powers to government, other than these, they need to be made to get out of our business. These are listed at...

For over five generations, the citizens of Hong Kong (a British Crown Colony until 1997) have enjoyed wealth, affluence and individual freedom unparalleled in the Far East and in most places in the world. It is a great cultural center with a government modeled after the British model and a society deeply influenced by Christianity. This is the only life that generations of the people of Hong Kong have ever known. But all this is changing literally overnight as Hong Kong is being taken over completely by Red China before our very eyes. Daily on television we are watching a once free and prosperous people become an enslaved and impoverished people.

John Adams once wrote: “A Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Li...
