HOW TO DEAL WITH DIFFICULTIES

The Bible tells us that,  “man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward” (Job 5:7). It is inevitable that trouble of one sort or another, at some time or another, will come into our lives. What is important is how we deal with them. “Troubles,” someone said, “are like kitchen knives; they will either help us or hurt us, depending on how we handle them.”

Sometimes God allows difficulties to come into our lives to call our attention to the wrongness of a path we’ve taken in terms of our attitude, actions or associations, etc. in order to bring about convictions in us that will work to our overall good. Many of us have learned that some things that we’ve thought were the worst things that could happen to us, have turned out to be the best things that ever happened to us.

It's important that you and I be very prayerful, thoughtful and careful about the way we think about and deal with the difficulties we experience in life.  Otherwise, Satan is liable and likely to find a way to turn something that God intended to turn to our advantage into something he can make work to our disadvantage and despair. See Gen. 50:20; Rom. 8:28: Joel. 2:25; Hab. 3:17-19.
