TO TAKE, OR NOT TO TAKE, A TYLENOL

It has been said again and again that if President Trump discovered a quick, complete and proven cure for cancer, that Democrats, progressives and Leftists would unite to oppose its distribution. Recently Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and top medical scientists associated with the Trump administration announced that Tylenol when ingested by pregnant women poses a health hazard to babies, the most likely of which is giving birth to an autistic child. President Trump personally announced these findings and the appropriate warning.

In response to the above, pregnant Democrat, progressive and other Leftist women immediately began posting videos of themselves binge-dosing Tylenol and vowing to protest and resist, and urge the resistance of, any cutting back of the use of Tylenol by pregnant women. The only people in sympathy with them so far are the makers of Tylenol and the medical professionals who are on the salaried staff of the makers of Tylenol.

Mark Twain once flippantly and foolishly said that mankind would have been better off if, instead of  forbidding our first parents to eat forbidden fruit, God had told them not to eat the serpent. I wonder what would happen if President Trump advised Democrats, progressives and other Leftists to take good care of themselves and to look both ways before they cross a busy street.

The recent Tylenol reaction by the Left underscores the fact that “Trump Derangement” involves something much deeper, more dark and dangerous and more sick and sinister than ideological and political difference or even the capacity of one human being to hate another.

Thinking, language and behavior that is now described as being symptomatic of “derangement” is, in reality, symptomatic of the demonic; symptomatic of a very real demonic power that is now being manifested by the Democrat, progressive and woke Left—people who murder unborn babies and people like Charlie Kirk and who promote and celebrate the dirtiest  and ugliest and most godless thought and behavior imaginable to a sin-crazed mind. (Gen. 6:5; Rom. 1:18-32).

Many in America today, at every level of society, are so given over in their minds to sin that they are like those who crucified Christ, for whom He prayed, “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do”(Luke 23:34). Christians need to pray that the godless Left in America will come to the place where they will seek and receive forgiveness for their sin. But it needs to be remembered that even though people may “know not what they do,” they still do what they do.”

And we must do what we must do. We must face the reality that many people in America have been made homicidal, suicidal and maniacal, and their problem has little to do with any kind of syndrome, and everything to do with sin.  We must pray that our civil government will become a true terror to evil (Rom. 13:3), and that we will “not be  overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good” (Rom. 12:21).
