AS GOES THE FAMILY, SO GOES THE NATION

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink: Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him! Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame * consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of “ – Isaiah 5:20-24

Vladimir Lenin (1870-1924), the leader of the bloody Bolshevik revolution, founder/dictator of the Soviet Union and father of Russian communism famously said, “Destroy the family, and you destroy the country.” Those who share his political philosophy, in keeping with their shared goals, have been waging a ruthless and relentless cultural war on America’s Judaeo-Christian based culture for many decades, with the traditional, biblically defined family, as their primary target, fixed firmly in their crosshairs. They know that in order to replace our constitutional republic with a communist system on the order of China’s, North Korea’s, Cuba’s and the former Soviet Union, and replace our capitalistic economic system with a collectivist one, they have to first “gun down” the family.

In 1848 Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels wrote the Communist Manifesto, the document that became an unholy bible for dictators such as Lenin, Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, Kim II Sung of North Korea and the Notorious Pol Pot of Cambodia – all responsible for the murder of multiplied millions of their own countrymen for the sake of establishing communism in the country whose governments they’d hijacked. In the Communist Manifesto Marx and Engels outlined what must be implemented in a nation to bring about a communistic government and society (Read this and notice that it practically mirrors the political platform of today’s Democratic Party). Topping the list of goals in the Communist Manifesto are: a public education system, a progressive income tax, the outlawing of personal property and the abolition of the family.

Communists, socialists, Democrats, progressives are all driven by the same core beliefs, and have the same basic agenda – the prohibition of free enterprise, the right to own private property, the education of all children by government-run schools, a progressive income tax, the abolition of the family and the removal of all consciousness of God from the private and the public square.. In America, the news media, entertainment industry, our institutions of learning and the government are complicit in carrying out this agenda.

Most of what is outlined in the Communist Manifesto (Read it for free on the internet) is now in place. What isn’t is being rapidly put into place. The destruction of the family is a foundational plank that must be ripped out before this nation finally collapses and our people can begin to experience the conditions that characterize those of a totalitarian police state. The main wrecking crew, the storm troopers or shock troops being utilized to destroy the America family is the militant homosexual movement.

The government is legislating, the judiciaries are ruling and the media is propagandizing daily in favor of the “destroy the family – destroy the country” agenda. An example of such propaganda appeared recently when news outlets

California, which in September of 2008 prohibited the use of bride and groom in any state wedding ceremony and ruled that their schoolbooks may no longer use the terms husband and wife, is typical of what has happened and is happening in states and public schools all across America. A relentless redefining of family, a redefining the traditional family completely out of existence, is underway and progressing with mind boggling speed and success. News outlets recently reported that “families with unmarried parents now outnumber families with married parents.” Constant references are made to “families” headed by homosexual couples. All of this is sheer propaganda. These are aberrations and mockeries of what constitutes a real, legitimate family. These are not by biblical, traditional, classic definition “families” at all. A real family by biblical definition and in the traditional and classical sense, exists wherever a man and a woman have united in holy matrimony and either have or haven’t added children to their family.

How goes the war against the family in America? The picture is not good. The “pictures” are literally not good, as we see traditional marriage and home being castigated on the big and small screen, in print and elsewhere while homosexuality and everything associated with it is sympathized with and celebrated. One might say that, in America, the traditional family as it is defined in the Bible and as it has existed as indispensable part of the foundation of our society, is now being brutally bludgeoned to death. It’s an ugly and scary picture.

Where does the blame belong for what is happening to America’s homes and families? It belongs at the doorstep of American Christianity. Just in the same way and at the same pace that Christians and churches have allowed Christianity to be redefined and themselves to be redirected from the authority of God’s Word, American society has allowed itself to be redefined by Marxist teaching and the degrading effects of an indiscriminate embrace of multiculturalism. In this respect, the warning of Daniel Webster (1782-1852), one of America’s greatest statesmen and senators while haunting, may even at this late hour be helpful if heeded:

“If we and our posterity shall be true to the Christian religion, if we and they shall live always in the fear of God and shall respect his commandments, if we and they shall maintain just moral sentiments and such conscientious convictions of liberty as shall control the heart and life, we may have the highest hopes of the future of our country, and we may be sure of one thing—our country will go on prospering. But if we and our posterity reject religious instruction and authority, violate the rules of eternal justice, trifle with the injunctions of morality, and recklessly destroy the political Constitution which holds us together, no one can tell how sudden a catastrophe may overwhelm us that shall bury all our memory in profound obscurity.”
