THE BAD NEWS ABOUT TODAY’S “NEWS”

And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street and equity cannot enter.”—Isa. 59:14

Joseph J. Pulitzer (1847-1911) the inspiration for the Pulitzer Prize in literature was the publisher of two great newspapers. He was also a major figure in the Democratic Party. This was of course, before the Democratic Party had completely morphed itself into the communist/Marxist political machine that it is today.

Pulitzer said:

“A cynical, mercenary, demagogic press will produce in time a people as base as itself.

The power to mould the future of the Republic will be in the hands of the journalists of

future generations.”

We really don’t have very many, if any, “journalists” in the mainstream media today. Finding one would be equivalent to finding the proverbial needle in a haystack. They are arrogant, unabashed, scheming propagandists for the Democratic party and the rest of the far left in America. They are today, the “cynical, mercenary, demagogic press” he warned against. And they have gone a long way towards producing a people as base as themselves. They have come a long way too, with the special help of the liberal academia that has control of our schools and universities and the entertainment industry inn molding the future of our Republic into the totalitarian nightmare that socialism inevitably produces in a nation. The truth of Pulitzer’s words is now being demonstrated every day by the mainstream media.Thomas Jefferson said of the mainstream media of his day:

“Nothing can now be believed that is seen in a newspaper. Truth itself becomes suspicious

by being put into that polluted vehicle.”

What Jefferson saiid may have been a bit of an overstatement back then. But what he said then is probably on the verge of being an understatement today. Our most recent election results demonstrate this.

The following statement is not based on hysteria or ignorance, but on composed common sense: If you value your liberty and care to do anything really significant to preserve our Constitutional Republic, it would be a good idea to (1) cancel your newspaper subscriptions along with a note telling the publishers why you are doing it, and (2) use the internet to get your news and to share articles, posts and videos, etc. that will educate people in terms of the clear and present danger to our freedom that now rages all around us and against us.
