THEY DON’T THINK LIKE WE DO
The thinking of Americans regarding such things as life, liberty and the role that government should play in the lives of individuals has historically and fundamentally stood in stark contrast to the way people in the rest of the world think about these things. This distinct American way of thinking explains more than anything else why we have been the freest, most materially prosperous and happiest people in the history of mankind.
Americans have historically shared (whether people here are conscious of this now or not), an inherited mindset that operates within the context of (1) respect for the value of human life, (2) a deeply held love of individual liberty and (3) a high degree of recognition and reverence for the God of the Bible; all of which are rooted in, and driven by, principles found in the Word of God. But the rest of the world, for the most part, hasn't thought and doesn't think within this context.
The Bible says, that as a man “thinketh in his heart, so is he” (Prov. 23:7). The same is true of a nation. We are what we are because of what has historically characterized the thought-life of our nation. The way a nation thinks, will have greater bearing than anything else on what it becomes. When a nation thinks rightly about God and about such things as life, liberty and the pursuit of individual happiness it will be blessed. When a nation doesn't think rightly about these things, it gets what such nations get: "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all nations that forget God" (Ps.9:17). The old adage applies here, that, "There is nothing, either good or bad, but thinking makes it so."
The historical legacy and norm, for other people has been one of subjection to arbitrary rule by European monarchs, Asian warlords and czars, or African chieftains, etc. They are accustomed to, if not comfortable with, the rule of tyrannical dictators and political oligarchies. It isn't a strange concept to them for lives to be micromanaged by political handlers. Life is held cheap and expendable in countries rooted in paganism and ruled by atheistic socialist and communist systems of government. Infanticide, euthanasia, enslavement and mass murder of citizens by government is commonplace in the thought of most people outside of the United States. But Americans don't think this way. It isn't natural to our thought processes to think like this.
We were neither birthed with or into the kind of thinking that dominates the minds of the rest of the world. Therefore, it's hard for us to conceive that others in Islamic and communist nations think as entirely different from us as they do about life, liberty and the individual right of people to pursue their own happiness.
Our way of thinking makes it hard for some Americans to accept the fact that socialism and communism put over 100 millions of civilians to death in the 20th century alone. Our way of thinking makes it hard to process the fact that Islam's demonstrated conviction is that it is their duty to subjugate and kill everyone in the world who will not convert to Islam. It's hard for Americans to mentally process the capacity for deceitfulness, ruthlessness and cruelty that characterizes other nationalities, cultures and religions.
It represents an Achilles heel and a national danger for Americans not to recognize and admit that almost all of the rest of the world doesn't think like we do, and never has. But the sooner Americans, unapologetically, get this into their heads and their hearts the better off we will be and the more secure the future will be for ourselves and our families. It is critical that people see that the thinking behind political correctness and things like same-sexism, multiculturalism, globalism, socialism and un-Americanism all originate with and are promoted by people who don't think like we do.
A nation with it's thinking so corrupted that it promotes the slaughter of its infants, celebrates perversion and wants to eradicate every vestige of God and Christianity from its society cannot be blessed. This all represents the thinking of the Democratic Party, the media elite and the Hollywood community. It's time for Americans all across our country who believe in God, in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, who believe in the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights to demonstrate in every way possible, a rejection of the ideas and agendas of those who don't think like we do. This is critical to our survival as a free people.
