Sadly, 2017 was not a good year for babies ready to be born in New York. That year alone 105,380 babies were killed via abortion. The governor at the time, Andrew Cuomo, ratcheted up abortion opportunities in 2019, when he signed legislation to effectively allow the killing of unborn babies right up until the due date. After the signing, he publicly praised the legislation and vowed to keep infanticide via abortion sacrosanct in New York regardless of anything the federal government might ever decide. This Tuesday, Governor Cuomo, in a news conference relative to the coronavirus said, “we're not going to accept a premise that human life is disposable." Really? Does this statement by the governor fit into the category of being a lie? Of course it does. Is it an example of rank hypocrisy? Of course it is. Does his enthusiastic support of killing innocent babies disturb anyone?

Lying and hypocrisy and a willingness to kill the defenseless on the party of political office holders is something that the public should find disturbing and dangerous. New York’s governor isn’t the only one willing to lie, support the murder of the defenseless and practice whatever hypocrisy that serves their purposes. This is typical of political office holders, locally, statewide and at the federal level throughout the Democratic Party. This is the way they think, and these are the kind of things they do.

And, speaking of thinking, think about this: According to a February Gallup Poll, 47% of Americans either identify as Democrats or as “Democratic leaners.” And, while you’re at it, think about the great numbers of professed Christians, many, in what are called Bible-believing, Bible-preaching churches who would identify as Democrats or as “Democratic leaners.” This is the scariest and the sickest part of it all.

America has become a nation full of liars who have “shed innocent blood, [even] the blood of their sons and daughters” (Ps 106:38). More than half of those who govern the country are like this and at least half of the American people (including great numbers of professed Christians) apparently love to have it so.

Isaiah 60:12 says, “ For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, [those] nations shall be utterly wasted.” The only hope for this nation is in the undeserved intervention of God to “deliver us from evil” (Matt. 6:13), and from the wrath of God on “such a nation as this” (Jer. 5:29). And this divine intervention will depend upon the repentance, right living and prayers of those who are truly God’s children through faith in Jesus Christ." (Please like and share this if you can).

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
