MY ANSWER TO A RECENT QUESTION

I WAS ASKED this question recently “Is it possible for a true Marxist revolution to take place here without shots fired?” MY ANSWER: The possibility of this happening will depend upon the degree to which ignorance, indifference and immorality have taken over the American conscience and spirit. A small minority of dedicated Marxists aided as they are by the mainstream media, Democrat politicians and the hoodlum-types in our streets (although all these represent only a small fraction of our population) can (as evidenced in history), throw the vast majority of the rest of us into totalitarian bondage if the American conscience and spirit has been negatively enough impacted by the things I’ve already noted.

As a side note, and by way of explanation, we are where we are today nationally, fundamentally and primarily, because of the vacuity of spiritual leadership that has become more and more evident in homes and in churches. Too many fathers and pastors have simply been asleep at the wheel, not paying attention or seriously taking care of business for far too long.

Our founders framed a system of government designed to preserve a lifestyle of liberty for Americans. At the same time they warned that our liberty would be sustained only as long as the principles of freedom and virtue were perpetuated through education and private and public practice. “And there arose another generation which knew not God … and they were greatly distressed” (Jud. 2:10, 15).
