A LITTLE SPACE FOR GRACE

“And now, for a little space grace hath been shewed from the Lord our God.” These words are found in Ezra 9:8, and have some relevance to the current situation in America. This nation, as paganistic and God defying as it has become, certainly doesn’t deserve it, but perhaps with the landslide loss of the Democratic-turned-Socialist/Marxist party in the recent election, God has given American Christians and churches a “little space” in which they may come to repentance and turn from their wild passion for conformity with world; conformity to the world that has given so much “space” to Satan to almost unhindered, do his awful work in our churches and all across this country.

     “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chron. 7:14). 

     “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

     And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Rom. 12:1, 2).

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." These words by Edmund Burke have never been more urgent or applicable than they are today, for Good men and women must resolve to do something now for the sake of revival and the spiritual rescue of our country, bearing in mind that only a "little," not an unlimited, space for grace has been given to us.
