A TERRIFYINGLY TRUTHFUL TWEET

Robert Reich was secretary of labor under Bill Clinton and also served the Carter and Obama administrations. On October 17th, referring to the Trump presidency, he tweeted the following: ‘When this nightmare is over, we need a Truth and Reconciliation Commission. It would erase Trump’s lies, comfort those who have been harmed by his hatefulness, and name every official, politician, executive, and media mogul whose greed and cowardice enabled this catastrophe.” Many are tweeting their agreement with the proposal by Reich and other Democrat elites that punitive action be taken against Americans who have supported President Trump and opposed the Democratic agenda. Typical of these tweets is the following: “we also need to punish those who have decimated US from Trump on down.”

Reich’s proposed “Truth and Reconciliation Commission” is consistent with what happens historically when governments are overthrown by atheistic ideologues such as those in today’s Democratic Party and in the rest of America’s Marxist left. This is how they think, and this is what they do.

The revolutionaries who came to power in France in the 18th century were on the same political and social “page” as Reich, the Clintons, Obama, Biden, Harris and all their elite leftist cronies are on today. Upon taking power, leaders of the French Revolution, in April of 1793, formed a “Committee of Public Safety” to eliminate all potential “enemies of the revolution” including their family members and friends. Within one year, approximately 27,000 men, women, and children were arrested. Of these, about 17,000 were executed and 10,000 died in prison. Thousands more were sought out and slaughtered in the countryside. (Remember the guillotines rolled down city streets by BLM, ANTIFA led mobs?).

Following the Bolshevik Revolution, Lenin imprisoned and executed thousands of people, including those he labeled “useful idiots” who had helped the communists come to power. His successor, Joseph Stalin did the same thing beginning in the late 1920’s. Between 1936 and 1938 he staged a series of “show trials” against those considered to be a threat to the Communist Party of the Soviet Union that resulted in millions of innocent Soviet citizens either being killed outrightly or sent to labor camps where millions would be worked and starved to death up until, and for decades after, his death.

In China, an estimated 65 million people died by execution, imprisonment or forced famine during the communist takeover of that country led by Mao Tse Tung. In 1966, Mao launched the infamous “Cultural Revolution” which lasted until 1976, the publicized purpose of which was to preserve Chinese Communism by purging remnants of capitalist and traditional elements from Chinese society and to impose Mao Zedong thought as the dominant ideology throughout China.

Robert Reich only echoes the mindset, intentions and goals of the Democratic Party and other leftists in America when he tweets about a “Truth and Reconciliation Commission” to deal with all possible opposition to their goals for our country. If Joe Biden, the most useful idiot the communists have ever had, is elected next month, his handlers will, with mind-boggling speed, implement a program to contain and/or eliminate, “from Trump down,” whatever or whoever they perceive to be a threat to their power and control of this country.
