GUESS WHO IS BOOTED AND SPURRED AND READY TO RIDE?

Thomas Jefferson said, “The mass of mankind have not been born with saddles on their backs, nor a favored few booted and spurred, ready to ride them.” Put another way, We Americans have not been born with saddles on our backs, ready for a relative few in Washington D. C., booted and spurred, to ride us. It is way past time for Americans everywhere to resist Democrat or Republican politicians who either want, or are willing to stand by and allow, government to ride us however and wherever it sees fit.

Mankind was created in the image and likeness of God. God is the very essence of freedom, and He created man to live in submission to nobody and to nothing other than Himself and that rule or law that is consistent with His will. Freedom (more specifically, liberty) is the God-given right of every man; it is not something intended to be arbitrarily doled out by government. Only tyrants claim the the right and attempt to dole out freedom.

Sin and evil are behind every effort to infringe upon an individual’s freedom. This is so except in cases where the breaking of God’s laws require the limitation of a criminal’s freedom. The greatest manifestation of sin, evil and criminality is seen where tyrannical, despotic governments endeavor to subjugate and enslave free people contrary to the laws of God and the laws of man that have been framed to preserve individual liberty. This type of sin, evil and criminality is being played out now in America. (Share this if you can).
