TEARING DOWN MONUMENTS AND HOW TYRANNY WORKS

Alexander Solzhenitsyn (1918-2008), a decorated Soviet officer during World War II, spent eight years in Soviet slave labor camps for expressing an anti-communist sentiment in a personal letter. A novelist, philosopher, historian and Nobel Peace Prize winner, Solzhenitsyn understood communism more than most; how it operates and how it overthrows governments. While living here, he constantly warned us of the danger it poses to our own country. One of his warnings is being played out now, as we watch our historical monuments being defaced and destroyed by the anarchist mobs. He said: “To destroy a people you must first sever their roots.” That’s what this is all about. And government – neither locally or federally – is doing anything about it.

For several decades, Marxist-minded men and women out of the 1960’s generation of campus rioters have controlled almost all of our institutions of learning. They’ve revised and erased history from school textbooks to suit their agenda and propagandized the mobs of young useful idiots now aiding and abetting dyed-in-the-wool communists organizers in shredding our history. This has been part and parcel of every godless, population-enslaving revolution since the bloody French Revolution (1789-1799) upon which every modernist communist takeover has been modeled. The rewriting and erasure of history, censuring of literature and destruction of monuments is part of every single one of them. This is where we are now.

A quote attributed to different people says, “Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it.” We have not (for whatever reason) learned enough, well enough, from history, especially communist history, to avoid its repetition here in our own nation.

In keeping with historical precedent, we are now in one of the final stages of an inevitable communist takeover unless resistance that can have the blessing of God on it is soon put forth.
