THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE YOU’LL HAVE IN 2022.
“If a lie is big enough, and told often enough, people will eventually embrace it” is a quotation attributed to Vladimir Lenin, Adolf Hitler and Joseph Goebbels. Probably they all, and others like them, said it, using different words perhaps, but expressing the same fact; and it is a fact, that has been proven over and over again. Man’s spiritually fallen condition doesn’t incline him towards truth as much as it inclines him towards a lie. And the more morally depraved a society becomes, the greater its aversion for truth and its appetite for lies, especially insidious lies, becomes. Something to think about in days when people, in order to get along with a spiritually rotted out society, are embracing the lie that unborn babies are mere globs of tissue, that men are women and women are men, that politically manufactured “science falsely so-called” is to be followed blindly and factually-based true science is to be rejected and that people are in fact whatever they choose to identify with, be it an animal, a rock, or whatever.
These are times characterized by the insidious lie. "Insidious" is defined as, “proceeding in a gradual, subtle way, but with harmful effects: developing so gradually as to be well established before becoming apparent: awaiting a chance to entrap: treacherous; harmful but enticing and seductive.” Most of American society is now awash and marinating in a culture of insidious lies—a cesspool turning more and more every day into a vicious whirlpool that is harder and harder to escape; and modern-day mocked-up “Christianity” contributes to this downward spiral of everything that is decent and sane.
The ingathering of souls into the kingdom of God and the security of our country has always been greatest whenever truth has been propagated, lived out, and at the least respected; it is during these times that the power and downward pull of lies has been minimized and thwarted the most. But America’s popular, paganized modern day mocked-up Christianity has done nothing to avert, and everything to aid and abet the force of the insidious lie and the evil in our society. Why? Because this is what a Christ-less, Cross-less, conviction-less and carnality-loving counterfeit Christianity does.
The biggest challenge people have right now involves their finding and embracing the truth and thereby being enabled to escape the treachery of this culture of lies that is preparing people to believe the ultimate end time lie that will cause “all, both small and great , rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast or the number of his name” (Rev. 13:16,17).
