THE LEFT'S HATRED OF THE TEN COMMANDMENTS

John Witherspoon, a minister, and one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, said, “Whoever is an avowed enemy of God, I scruple not to call him an enemy of his country…” I agree with Witherspoon. So, I should think, would every other thinking American. Problem is, "thinking" Americans are becoming fewer and fewer.

The life-and-death political and cultural battles increasingly wracking America, including the recent banana-republic-style corrupted overthrow of our presidential election, make a clear perspective more important than ever. Essential to this is the knowledge that we are confronted with sheer evil, and nothing embodies and illustrates this more than the Democratic party and its assault on God's law as summarized in the Ten Commandments. Our traditional, predominate Judeo-Christian culture, rooted in the Ten Commandments has been reduced to the status of a counter-culture by what is typically called the "Left." The totalitarian, atheistic, morally perverted "Left," exemplified by the Democratic Party is driven by hatred for, and aggressive violation of, the Ten Commandments. Does this sound "over the top?" It isn't. If anything, it's an understatement of fact.

For example,the Sixth Commandment says "Thou shalt not kill" (referring specifically to murder"). One hundred to 200 million people were murdered during the 20th century under Leftist totalitarian-utopian governmental systems; the same kind of system believed in and being put in place now by the ruling elite in Washington DC. Since 1973, more than 3,000 innocent babies have been murdered in their mothers' wombs every single day; the same number, every day as those who were murdered in the 9-11 terror attacks. All last year, Democrats, all their major presidential candidates included, praised and promised to continue the murder of babies (aka, abortion on demand) right up to the very moment of birth; a concept not only characteristic of the criminally insane, but evil to the core.

The seventh commandment, "Thou shalt not commit adultery," is one that if observed, would end the ever-metastasizing insanity of the "sexual revolution" that was introduced here by the Left in the 1960s. This Pandora's Box of tragedies and disasters opened up by the Left unleashed a million plus abortions per year, astronomical levels of out-of-wedlock births, an epidemic of family breakdowns, divorce and fatherlessness and over 110 million Americans with sexually transmitted disease. The Left's attitude towards the Seventh Commandment has produced a growing and ever-more-perverse LGBTQ movement along with a freaky, filthy, fraudulent "science" that says a person's gender is whatever they decide it is, and America's children are being indoctrinated nonstop from toddlerhood up with this wickedness.

The Left, and its poster boys and girls in the Democratic Party can't survive without violating the eighth commandment that says, "Thou shalt not steal." The collectivist Left is all about stealing. This is why they love taxation without representation which is nothing less than stealing at the point of a gun; the "gun" being the government's police and military power which says to working Americans, "Hand over your money, as much of it as we tell you to, or we'll march you off to jail." This is why the Left loves "wealth redistribution" so much. Thus, Leftist/Democrats enrich themselves by stealing from one group and giving some of the spoils to another group in return for their votes. The Left can't live without breaking the eight commandment; stealing is what it does.

America's Left, i. e. the Democratic Party, is also dependent on, and dedicated to, breaking the Ninth Commandment, "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor." It's primary tactic for advancing itself is nonstop lying. It defames, demonizes and lies about conservatives, Christians and anyone who stands in their way, to serve its own interests. The Democratic Party and the rest of the American Left constitute one enormous league of consummate, pathological liars. Jesus's description in John 8:44 of certain of His enemies comes to mind, "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."

As for the Tenth Commandment, "Thou shalt not covet:" Democrats and the rest of the Left operate within a culture of covetousness. Winston Churchill described socialism as "the gospel of envy," an apt description that underscores two truths: One, that socialism is a religion to its adherents, and two, that it deliberately appeals to, celebrates and capitalizes on one of the worst aspects of human nature – envy. Leftists, as demonstrated by the Democrat Party, are envious and promote envy in the form of class hatred, racism and identity politics, etc. John Chrysostom said, "As a moth gnaws a garment, so doth envy consume a man," Tacitus wrote, "When men are full of envy they disparage everything, whether it be good or bad." This describes the Left that thrives on covetous envy, and it explains why the breaking of the tenth, as well as all the rest of the Ten Commandments suits them to a T.

The depth of evil that permeates the character and drives the agenda of the Left can't be fully understood unless their hatred for the Ten Commandments is understood. This is why they have spared no effort in getting any public display of the Ten Commandments, which used to be common place in public schools and government spaces, removed from sight. The Ten Commandments represent the moral law of God for mankind — the law which is "our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ" (Gal. 3:24). This tells us everything we need to know by way of verification of the evil that is resident in and represented by the Left — the Left that now dominates our politics and culture and is in the process of turning life in America into one incomprehensibly hellish nightmare.
