THE RULING ELITE AND THE REST OF US
A recent Rasmussen Study identifies a power-elite that believes they have a right to (and in reality currently do, for all practical purposes) rule the rest of us. Seventy three percent (73%) of this elite group identify as Democrats and fourteen percent (14%) as Republicans.
These elites, according to Charles Murray in his book Coming Apart and Rasmussen’s and other studies, have the following in common: They hold graduate degrees from either Harvard, Princeton or Yale, have spouses that have gone to Harvard, Princeton or Yale, and they share the same zip codes with graduates of Harvard, Princeton or Yale. Besides these disparities, Rasmussen and other studies discovered that this group is as different from the rest of us in terms of morals and values as night is from day.
When asked the question, “Would you be willing to steal an election rather than lose it?” 7% of the general population said, “Yes,” while 67% of the elite group, 67% said, “Yes.” Scott Rasmussen said that this is the most frightening discovery he has made in his entire career or conducting polls and research.
Our ruling elites are as far to the left of the rest of us in terms of morals and values as earth is from Mars. They are also, by admission, ready, willing and anxious to use their power to strategically impose their values on the rest of us. These are the people who currently run the government, the news media, our largest corporations and the public educational system from grade school through graduate school.
The elites believe from the core of their beings that they are superior to the rest of us, that it is their duty, and that they are entitled, to impose their values on the rest of us for our own good. They make no secret of the contempt they have for the rest of us, especially those who question their superiority or right to dictate and micromanage every aspect of our lives. They want to dictate what we should and shouldn’t think, what we can and can’t say, and where and how we live and raise our families. Millions of Americans, not in lockstep with these elites have been labeled by Barach Obama as gun and God clingers and smelly Walmart shoppers, by Hillary Clinton as “deplorables” and “irredeemable,” and most recently by Kamal Harris as Nazis and fascists and by President Biden simply as “garbage.” These elites are dangerous people.
Our ruling elite doesn’t understand or relate, or care to understand or relate to how the rank and file of the rest of us think and live. They move within their social circle, and couldn’t be more ignorant, obtuse, insensitive, disinterested in, or contemptuous of, the rest of us than they already are. Their feelings towards the rest of us are the same as those that tyrants of the past have had towards those whom they considered the “unwashed masses.” We need to be reminded now of a truth spoken by Thomas Jefferson who wrote: “the mass of mankind has not been born with saddles on their backs, nor a favored few booted and spurred, ready to ride them.”
The people at the head of and in control our federal bureaucracy are, for the most part, unelected bureaucrats who have been appointed by other mostly unelected bureaucrats. We no longer have the “government of the people, by the people and for the people” that Abraham Lincoln referred to in his Gettysburg Address. Instead we have, as a matter of cold, hard, daily demonstrated fact, what a recent guest speaker at Hillsdale College described as “a government of the elite, by the elite and for the elite; and the rest of us are allowed to complain.”
The description given here is a description of who and what the ruling elite in America actually are as people. These are people who covet, and who are fanatically determined, to have complete control over the rest of us; people who are willing to commit or facilitate any crime against humanity in order to gain this control. Government power (exercised as directly by themselves as possible) is their god. They hold nothing else sacred—not God, not human life or rights, not the Constitution, not The Bill of Rights; not anything. They will start any war, tell any lie, falsify any election – do anything – for the sake of gaining, holding onto and increasing their power over the rest of us.
