THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND THROUGHOUT 2022

We're living in times unprecedented in terms of the degree to which our society has turned its back on God, and the levels at which "the wicked beareth rule" (Prov. 29:2) in our country. These are times when people are fed lie after lie (no lie is too preposterous and outrageous); and when people are encouraged to forsake and forget things that are positively and obviously true. But truth must be held on to and some things remembered every day throughout this New Year. Here's one of them:

Remember that a human baby is a baby; not just some “tissue,” or a “fetus,” but a little human being created in the image of God; a soul for whom Christ died. It will not go well in eternity for those who perpetrate, participate in, or in any way promote the killing of these of whom Jesus said, “Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven” (Matt. 18:10). Don’t ever forget this.

Here’s the most important thing to remember: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16-18).
