WHERE WE ARE, WHY WE’RE HERE AND WHAT WE MUST DO

WHERE WE ARE. We are living in a state of national madness and witnessing what amounts to the homicide/suicide of our nation. We are experiencing an intentionally engineered from within full scale invasion of our country along with the destruction of our economy, the rapid reduction of our food supply, and a contrived and escalating breakdown of law and order everywhere in America. Add to this (1) the government’s sponsoring and enforcement of the sexualization of our children through indoctrination and physical mutilation, etc. in keeping with the WOKE/transgender agenda, (2) the government’s war on parents and (3) the government’s steadily and more and more blatantly criminalization of Christianity—all supported by a rabidly godless media and entertainment industry.

WHY WE’RE HERE. In a nutshell: America has, generally speaking, gone from turning its back on God, to raising a mocking and defiant fist towards God, to going into full attack mode against God. And this has happened because so much of Christianity and its leadership here long ago dropped the “ball” in terms of proclaiming the Gospel message and being the personification of “salt” and “light” to our society (Matt. 5:13-16). Now much of American Christianity either doesn’t want to pick up the “ball” or is clueless as to what the “ball” even looks like.

WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE. There is much that needs to be done and that can be done to deal with our dire situation and turn it around. But nothing can effectually be done until God’s people, those in leadership especially (1 Pet. 4:17), do three things: (1) CONFESS, that is admit, their rebellious sin, (2) CRY OUT to God in repentance and for mercy, and (3) CHANGE their ways to ways that are in keeping with the Word of God and conducive to conformity to the image of Christ (Rom. 8:28, 29; Phil. 2:5).

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).
