"A man who deliberately inflicts violence on the language will almost certainly inflict violence on human beings if he acquires the power. Those who treasure the meaning of words will treasure truth, and those who bend words to their purposes are very likely in pursuit of anti-social ones. The correct and honorable use of words is the first and natural credential of civilized status.” – Paul Johnson, Enemies of Society
Definition: Protest: “A protest is a public demonstration where people express strong disapproval or disagreement with something, often related to political, social, or economic issues.” Definition: Insurrection: “A violent uprising against an authority or government.” Insurrectionist: “A person who actively participates, often violently, in or supports an insurrection, which is a rebellion or uprising against a government or authority. They are rebels or insurgents who rise up against established power, often with the goal of overthrowing it or forcing change.”
Almost 2,0000 years ago the great rhetorician, Quintilian wrote, “Clearness is the most important matter in the use of words.” So, let’s be clear. The violent, thieving, mobs now creating chaos, burning buildings and attacking police authority across our land right now are not “protestors” as they are being insidiously referred to by the Leftist dominated mainstream media, and idiotically referred to by some conservative media. Today, even Newsmax, probably the best of the news platforms, referred to what is being done by Marines and the National Guard “amid violent anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement protests.”
This is not “protest” that is taking place—it is violent terroristic insurrection aimed at the overthrow of America. People in the business of communication need to use words in their “reporting” that are appropriate in reference to people and situations. People everywhere with any degree of integrity and intelligence will do the same thing.
What is going on right now in LA, Chicago, Seattle, etc. (all Blue, Democrat-ruled states). Is not “protest,” it is insurrection, and these are not “protestors” they are insurrectionists! News people, government officials and everybody else needs to stop demonstrating their ignorance, naivety, disingenuousness and stupidity by misusing the English language in reference to these mobs. Russell Conwell was right when he said, “A man has no right to use words carelessly.”
These people are nothing less than treasonous insurrectionists; mobs made up of communists, anarchists, paid thugs and disgusting self-loathing useful idiots who should be loathed. The general public needs to assign little credibility to media, government figures or anyone else who use words like protests” and “protestors” when referring to what is nothing less than insurrection that is in play and aimed at the demise of our nation. Former British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli warned that, “With words we govern men.”
Words are powerful things. Mark Twain said, “The difference between the right word and the almost right word is the difference between lightening and the lightening bug.” We need to remember this now, when the mainstream media has become nothing less than a nation wide Marxist propaganda machine, that, complicit with the Democratic party, is attempting to overthrow and take over America.
