AFTERTHOUGHTS IN THE AFTERMATH OF AFGHANISTAN

George Washington warned that, “Government is not reason, it is not eloquence-it is force! Like fire it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master; never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action.”

As an American, well versed in our history, I resent the false statements and the gross understatement being made by the liberal and the so called conservative media that refers to the Afghanistan situation as “One of the worst debacles in American military history.” No: what we have witnessed and are witnessing is beyond comparison, the definition of infamy in terms of a government’s massive wholesale betrayal of a country, its citizens and its allies.

Our current government has turned a massive arsenal of the best military arms and equipment in the world, equivalent in size to that possessed by Australia’s military, over to the Taliban. Americans can see them on television now, already wearing abandoned military uniforms, brandishing American weaponry and equipment, posing in front of our planes, helicopters, personnel carriers, tanks, Humvees, etc., etc., etc.

Around 80 billion dollars worth of American-taxpayer-purchased and American-military-needed arms and supplies have now become American government-abandoned-to-our-Taliban-enemy military arms and supplies. This will all be shared with terrorist groups like Al-Qaida and ISIS, etc. Red China and Russia now have people on the ground dismantling and dissecting the best of our military technology for the purpose of duplicating it. All compliments of powers-that-be now entrenched in Washington DC.

Never forget: the Taliban and company are cowardly, sadistic medieval throwbacks in terms of ideology and the delight they take in inhumane cruelty; people who daily publicize and celebrate their dedication to the destruction of America. Never forget, that in essence, in reality, our current government has aided, abetted and empowered these people on a scale that is incomprehensible in terms of possible and probable dire national consequences. And in the process, it has left American men, women and children and America-friendly Afghanistan families stranded and at the non-existent “mercy” of the Taliban & company.

In the meantime, the government, with the help of mainstream media is lying as outrageously and as often as possible about its crimes à la the adage, “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.”

Whether it has to do with things military or medical, with the economy or elections or anything else, it’s time for Americans to recognize, reject, resent and resist the lies coming out of a government that exists, thrives and survives on the basis of outrageous and often-told lies. (Share this if you can).

When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: But when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn”—Prov. 29:2
